The contents of this page for Blythe House and Furniture is still under construction. Please check back later and often. I hope to be working on this Blythe House when I can, and finding, DIYing and having Deron 3D Print items for this house.
OUR BLYTHE HOUSE IS A FIXER UPPER
This photo was taken right after I paid for the Blythe House and Deron brought it upstairs to the main floor of the Antique Mall we found it in.
I had been thinking for a couple off years about a Blythe House, or Shelves that could be set up as rooms, or a Box Room, for my Blythe Dolls. I was THRILLED to find this one, this Fixer Upper, with the chair in it, when I was at an Antique Mall for $20.
I plan to be working on it as I can.....and time is so precious right now.
My plan is, right now, to see if I can clean up that kitchen and leave that 'tiled' floor. I have a really cute 3D Printed Stove, Deron Modeled (Patterned), printed and put together for Tina's Reborns and I for a Collab.
I plan to paint the other rooms and see about Floors....not sure yet just what I want to do. In fact, after cleaning it up really well. I am Not hating the paint in the rooms. The floors? Gonna need some work. We will see.
This is a photo we took when we brought it home. I wanted a photo of the Brick side of it.
I have always loved Brick Houses and as you can see, we live in one.
As you can see, Lighted Deer in the Background, it is Christmas Time when we bought this, Dec 10, 2022 to be exact.
I wanted to see how a Blythe looked in the house, how tall the ceilings were, so I set Birdie in it and snapped a photo.
As you can see there is plenty of Head Room and somewhere I have a Chandelier, but I am not sure of the sizing for it. I have a few pieces of Furniture, but not a lot in this size.
After scrubbed this house up, with Pin Sol, I could not wait to see how some furniture might look. I also made a little Christmas Rug and found a little Pug I had that is wrapped in Christmas Lights.
It will be a while before I have time to paint and work on this house, I can enjoy a little furniture in it as I walk by it and look.
I used to have a couple of Doll Houses as a Teen Ager, I made and DIYed all sorts of things for it. I really enjoy making these types of items and working on the Doll House.....I just do not have as much time as I used to.
I did however do this quick, easy and inexpensive, craft for my Blythe Dolls.
These little couches are really nice for the Blythe Dolls. They support the head really well, or a Blythe can lay across it like teen agers do. You can used them as is or cover them. Either way, they are really cute.
